Efforts to Support Singapore’s Media Sector

The Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), a “statutory board in the Singapore government” “is strengthening its efforts to support the media sector in Singapore during the current COVID-19 situation.” Initiatives include both those to support “media professionals and freelancers” (e.g. “support impactful, ground-up initiatives by media associations”) and those to support “media companies (e.g. “help local media companies strengthen their capabilities.”).
