The Ministry of Health published a set of recommendations, in line with their Gender Identity Law, aimed at providing care to “trans, transvestite, and non-binary” individuals in the context of the pandemic. The recommended actions include: respecting the gender and name used by the individual, providing care in a way that is consistent with legislation guaranteeing respectful treatment of trans, transvestite, and non-binary individuals, and taking particular steps with regard to those undergoing hormone treatment.
